About the event

Join local fabric artist Robyn Lawson for a truly special and creative workshop that celebrates the innocence, imagination, and joy found in children's artwork.


In this unique 3-hour workshop, participants will learn how to transform a treasured child's or grandchild's drawing into a beautiful fabric art piece. Whether it's a colourful masterpiece, a simple sketch, or a much-loved artwork from years gone by, you'll create a meaningful heirloom that preserves precious memories for generations to come.


Robyn will guide you through the process step-by-step in a small, personalised workshop setting, ensuring plenty of individual support and encouragement. Participants are invited to bring along special item of the child's clothing that can be incorporated into their artwork to make it even more personal and unique.


Robyn will provide fabric pieces, haberdashery supplies, and backing fabric squares, along with expert instruction and creative inspiration throughout the session.
