One Square Foot Art Prize & Book Project

Everyone can be part of One Square Foot, with entries welcomed from artists across Australia. Our independent judges have selected the Top 40 artworks, and now it's over to the public to decide the Winner and Runner-Up.
The best part? Every artist selected in the Top 40 will be featured in our inaugural One Square Foot Book Project, due for release in August 2026.

Through her masterful use of colour and texture, Janet transforms elements into captivating works of art that invite viewers to slow down, observe, and reconnect with nature.
Salt Patterns

We are thrilled to announce Salt Patterns, an upcoming exhibition at Lion Studios featuring eight of Nelson Bay’s most evocative local artists.
From the grit of the sand to the fluid motion of the Pacific, these works explore the textures that define our coastal home. Expect a stunning collection of abstracts and landscapes that bring the raw beauty of Port Stephens indoors.
Art for Amber

We invite all artists of all levels to join us in raising funds and awareness of Ambers White Light, a charity that is focusing on the study of complex youth mental illness and suicide prevention. Entry is FREE !! And all profits from sold artwork will be donated to this amazing cause. Entries open 16/7/26
