 WIN A LIMITED EDITION KEN DONE PRINT & SUPPORT ART FOR AMBER 

The incredibly generous Ken Done Gallery has donated a beautiful 50 × 70cm limited edition print, Opera House and Bounty, valued at $470 unframed, which we’ll be raffling to raise even more funds for Amber’s White Light, a foundation dedicated to raising awareness around youth complex mental health and suicide prevention.

And the young woman pictured here is the reason this whole event is happening. 

Mikaylah, a local high school student and the organiser of Art for Amber, has invested countless hours into bringing this exhibition and fundraiser to life. Her goal is simple, to use art and community to make a difference and raise as much as possible for Amber’s White Light.

  • All artworks are A5 sized (210mm x 148mm)

  • Artists have kindly donated each piece of original artwork and we are sincerely grateful for their kindness and generousity

  • All artworks are $50 (including free shipping Australia Wide)

  • All artworks are original.

  • 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork and the sale of raffle tickets will be donate to Ambers White Light

HOW TO BUY

  • Attend our opening night 6pm Thursday 1st of October 2026 to celebrate the launch of this event. 

  • Artworks will be on display in store for the month of October. 

  • Hundreds of artworks have donated and will be avialable for sale. 

  • The online gallery opens at 8.00pm October 1st 2026. 

FRAME YOUR ARTWORK

  • Lion Studios is offering a special framing package for Art for Amber purchases. For an additional $100 - Your artwork can be professionally framed using conservation-grade materials, including an 8-ply cotton rag matboard and UltraVue® reflection-control glass, designed to beautifully showcase and protect your original artwork.

Art for Amber 2026 – Terms & Conditions By entering the Art for Amber 2026 exhibition and fundraising project, participants agree to the following Terms & Conditions: 1. Exhibition Overview Art for Amber is a community art initiative presented by Lion Studios to raise funds and awareness for Amber's White Light, a charity dedicated to the study of complex mental illness and suicide prevention. Entry to the exhibition is free of charge, and all profits from sold artworks will be donated directly to Amber’s White Light. 2. Eligibility Entry is open to artists of all ages, skill levels, and locations within Australia and New Zealand. Entries officially open on 16 June 2026. Participating artists must register and return completed artworks to the gallery by 16 September 2026. Late entries will not be accepted. 3. Entry Pack Each registered participant will receive an entry pack by mail containing: 2 x A5 art cards 1 x information flyer 1 x return envelope Artists are responsible for ensuring their completed artworks are safely packaged and returned by the due date. 4. Artwork Requirements Artists may create artwork using any medium suitable for the supplied card format. Artwork must remain appropriate for public exhibition. Lion Studios reserves the right to refuse entries deemed offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or unsuitable for exhibition purposes. 5. Exhibition & Display All completed artworks will be featured within the online exhibition gallery. A selected number of artworks will also be displayed physically within the gallery space at Lion Studios. 6. Artwork Sales All artworks will be offered for sale for $50 AUD throughout October 2026. All profits from artwork sales will be donated to Amber’s White Light. Artists acknowledge that they will not receive commission or payment from artwork sales as this is a charitable fundraising exhibition. 7. Unsold Artwork Lion Studios reserves the right to continue utilising, discounting, reproducing for promotional purposes, or reselling unsold artworks after October 2026 for the ongoing purpose of fundraising for Art for Amber and Amber’s White Light. 8. Promotion & Marketing By entering, artists grant Lion Studios permission to photograph, publish, and promote submitted artworks across websites, social media, print materials, media releases, exhibition catalogues, and promotional campaigns relating to the exhibition and fundraising initiative. Participating artists are encouraged to promote the exhibition within their own communities and social networks. 9. Framing Offer Visitors purchasing artwork during the exhibition period may choose to have their artwork professionally framed through Lion Studios for an additional fee of $100 AUD. 10. Liability While all reasonable care will be taken in handling artworks, Lion Studios accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage occurring during postage, transport, handling, or exhibition. 11. Privacy Statement Any personal information collected, including names, email addresses, postal addresses, and contact details, will only be used for the administration, communication, and promotion of the Art for Amber 2026 exhibition and related fundraising activities. Participant information will not be sold, shared, or distributed to third parties unrelated to the exhibition. 12. Agreement Submission of an artwork constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
