This photography competition is open to all photographers, providing an opportunity to showcase their talent. You must be a member of the Port Stephens in Pictures Facebook Group to enter. Each participant can submit up to five entries, with each submission requiring a separate entry form and a $36 entry fee. There are no seperate categories for this competition, judging will be done across all entries.

All entries will be printed by CD Fine Art Prints, utilizing a Canon 12 pigment ink color printer on Ilford Smooth Pearl Lustre Paper. The images will be produced at a 10x15" size and matted on jet-black mount board, with a standard size for easy framing. At the conclusion of the exhibition, each photographer will keep their printed image and matting.

Copyright of the images remains with the photographer but may be used by the organisers for marketing of this event and events of the same nature in the future.

Participants have the chance to gain recognition and compete for rewarding prizes, making this competition an exciting opportunity for photographers to display their work and gain exposure.

Presented image must be 100% photographic origin, this means using a camera or similar device, digital art images and AI will not be accepted.

You confirm that each person in photograph has granted permission to be portrayed as shown, unless the copyright laws in your jurisdiction allow film persons in a public place without consent.

Your image does not contain any infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, or pornographic content.

Your image does not contain any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a crime or violate any law.

Your image does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, contract rights or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, neither violate the rights of privacy or publicity of any person.

Your photo will not include images that you have purchased or for which you have obtained the rights to be used.

You will accept the decision of the judges and agree not to contact any judge directly in relation to your photographs, you can’t participate in judges attacks or evaluation process in any medium, social media including.

You agree to fully indemnify the Port Stephens in Print photo contest organisers about all penalties, fees, and any other monies owed to any person for failure to comply with any of the above requirements.

Each photograph requires its own individual entry and payment with a maximum of 5 entries per person. Files must be uploaded print ready;

Image must be cropped to 3:2 ratio or it may be cropped prior to printing. This is the same ratio as a standard photo sensor.
