With a limited entry of 5 pieces per artist at an entry cost of $15 per artist, this is your chance to showcase your fusion of layers and textures. Your entries must not exceed a total maximum area of 1 square mt.

Terms and Conditions for Entry – "Pretty Little Layers" 3D Art Exhibition

Eligibility and Entry:

  1. Open to all Artists: This exhibition is open to artists who wish to showcase 3D artwork, exploring depth, textures, and dimensionality.

  2. Entry Limit: Artists may submit a maximum of 5 pieces for entry.

  3. Entry Fee: There is an entry fee of $15 per artist. Payment is required at the time of entry submission.

  4. Artwork Size: The total maximum area of artwork submitted must not exceed 1 square meter.

  5. Artwork for Sale: All entries must be available for sale during the exhibition. Artists are required to list a sale price for each piece upon submission. You will be asked to provide a titel and information regarding your piece prior to the artwork delivery date. 

Artwork Presentation:

  1. Framing and Hanging Requirements:

    • Framed Pieces: All framed works must be framed in solid timber frames (black, white, or oak). Kmart, Spotlight, and IKEA frames are not acceptable. We have an affordable range of bespoke frames which are made from quality timbers mouldings and each entry will receive a discount voucher that can be used to purchase from this range. 

    • Hanging: All artwork intended for hanging must be fitted with D-rings and wire on the back. Artwork that is not properly prepared for hanging will not be accepted.

  2. Quality of Work: We aim to showcase high-quality, professional artwork. Submissions should meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. We reserve the right to refuse any artwork that does not meet these standards.

Sales and Commission:

  1. Sales Commission: Lion Studios will take a 30% commission on all sales made during the exhibition.

  2. Payment for Sold Works: Artists will receive payment for sold items within 15 days of the exhibition’s close, minus the applicable commission.

General Terms:

  1. Liability: Lion Studios takes every precaution to ensure the safety of artwork during the exhibition. However, artists agree to release Lion Studios from any liability for damage, theft, or loss of artwork during the exhibition period.

  2. Entry and Delivery: All artwork must be delivered to Lion Studios on the specified date, ready for display. Late submissions may not be accepted.

  3. Promotional Use: By entering the exhibition, artists grant Lion Studios permission to use images of their artwork for promotional purposes, both online and in print, to promote the event.

  4. Exhibition Dates: The exhibition will run from 29th April 2025 to 16th May. Artists should ensure their artwork is available for display throughout the entire exhibition period.

Important Notes:

  • Submissions are subject to approval based on quality and adherence to guidelines. If we are unable to display your item as part of the exhibition we will refund you the entry price. 

  • Artists must ensure that their artwork is appropriately packaged and labeled for delivery.

Entries by Mail:

We will accept entries by mail - please ship to Lion Studios Attention: Pretty Little Layers Exhibition. 7/19 Shearwater Drive, Taylors Beach NSW 2316. Unsold work will be returned to the artist via Australia Post or courier at the artists expense.
