Words from the Artist — Anne Michael
I’ve always felt a creative streak running through me from an early age. After completing the Colour and Design course at ISCD, I discovered the joy of mixing colours and bringing my ideas to life, and I was excited to see where this creative journey would take me. Inspired by the shapes and natural beauty of Australian flora, I’m naturally drawn to bright, vibrant colours. I love working with acrylics and gouache, adding layers of detail through lines and shapes to transform each piece. I’ve also explored fluid art, which I find exciting and unpredictable, as each painting seems to follow its own path.
Having had the opportunity to complete a number of commissions, I feel incredibly proud knowing that my artwork will be enjoyed by others and become part of their lives.
