Ornate Cowfish This piece focuses on the detail and vibrancy of a species inhabiting our Great Southern Reef. The Ornate Cowfish each with a unique skin pattern is a beautiful reminder of how incredible our temperate water creatures are. Each artwork is painted on a stretched canvas, float framed in solid Tasmanian Oak. measuring 30x30cm. 

Artist Statement - 
 
Hi my name’s Lena and I’m the owner of Seagarden. I grew up in the coastal town of Port Stephens but moved to the South Coast of NSW soon after finishing a degree in marine science. Growing up I spent a lot of time in the ocean and was lucky enough to begin scuba diving when I was 12. I then saved up and bought my own dive gear … I was hooked. I have seen some amazing dive sites both in Australia and overseas. My love for the ocean and conservation stems from spending a lot of time in and around the sea. As a creative person this shows in all of my artwork. My paintings have always been my way of bringing the sea home. I now get to spend more time doing the things I love as an artist and am grateful to share the wonder of the sea with other like minded people.
