Peaceful Pelican - Jennifer Newman

This is one of the many pelicans that inhabit Soldiers Point near the fish cleaning tables.They often compete aggressively for food but on this day in soft light this pelican looked serene and peaceful. I was particularly drawn to the texture in his head and beak.
